Louise Gibson, Play Practice Advisor

I joined CALA from the Out of School Care Federation in 2006 when they merged with HPS to form CALA. I am currently a Play Practice advisor with the Making Time for Play Project which aims to support families to use play to support strong attachment.

I manage a daycare centre for children aged 3 months – 12 years in Gairloch which is really useful for ideas on different play activities! I’ve been involved in that for nearly 22 years on the committee side as well as management.

On top of that I deliver first aid training and assess SVQs for HiMATS.
