What people say…
Here’s what students said about our Play and Learning into Practice (PLiP) course
Amazing, lots of active learning. I enjoyed and learned a lot and took things back to work.
It was an excellent journey with lots of learning opportunities.
I will use the theoretical knowledge and practical skills to improve my practice on a daily basis.
It has made me a more confident key worker. I feel I know what I am talking about with child’s development.
Have really enjoyed the course, the variety of activity & the interaction with people from lots of different settings.
Early Years Groups
It’s great to see recognition of the work you do to ensure our children are learning through fun, in a caring and nurturing environment. Thank you.
I find staff to be particularly approachable and supportive.
Out of School Groups
The Out of School Club at TRACC (Tain Royal Academy Community Centre) facilitated Jack in spending time to familiarise himself with the building, initially after and then during school hours. The investment by all involved in ensuring Jack’s comfort and welfare has paid dividends. His transition has been a resounding success and I cannot fully express my gratitude or compliment those involved highly enough for the exceptional support that has been and is still being shown to Jack.
I have always received a very good service and I have always felt my children were safe and happy. The service is reliable and of huge benefit to the community here, thank you. The atmosphere at Junior World is always warm and friendly which is appropriate in the provision of childcare services.
Robbie is a happy confident boy at Wimberley. When he first went to daycare he cried and had a look of fear seeing this enviroment, but has soon grown into the way of Wimberley daycare thanks to the team of ladies. Thank you girls x
CALA’s payroll service is invaluable.
CALA have been a great support to the nursery in the past year – always available at the end of the phone.
Staff always friendly and helpful.
The templates for recruitment documents etc on the members section of the website have been invaluable.
Our local officer has been fantastic in the support and advice that she has provided. Always keeps us up to date with what is going on and sends info on useful websites, forthcoming training opportunities etc.
Without CALA we wouldn’t be able to operate. We’ve gone from a group whose numbers were so low, feasibility of continuing was being questioned, to a group that is buzzing and big.
Great to have support of CALA and regular attendance by Jen McWhirter at our Toddler Groups. The kids love Jen’s singing, musical instruments and nursery rhymes.
Fiona, our CALA rep, attends regularly and interacts with both Mums and Toddlers. The activities she brings are really appreciated. We love when she comes.
Lots of responses from mums that the visits we receive from Allison from CALA are always creative and well received by the group! Looking forwards to our next visit.
Our toddler facilitator is great, very helpful. Appreciate her visits and advice hugely.
Think the venue is one of the best we have had – ample car parking and space within in the building. Nice room for speaker also.
Another inspirational keynote speaker – a hard act to follow!
Very good keynote speaker & workshops excellent.
Really enjoyed it. Coming back next year 🙂
I thought the day flowed really well and it was very interesting.
Cole had a fantastic day – we loved seeing the photos. Thank you.
Keep up the good work! The slideshows are fantastic!!
Great for grannies too. What fun they are all having! The blog is an excellent way of opening up the nursery.
Love seeing all the fun that was had over the summer. Makes me wish I was still a kid…
What fantastic simple ideas. Thank you for sharing – we shall be using them at our pre-school group.
Great ideas! Thanks for the inspiration!
