The Highland Child Protection Committee (HCPC) has purchased vouchers from Care and Learning Alliance (CALA) to enable local practitioners to access their E-Learning in relation to Child Protection and the Practice Model (GIRFEC).
This training would normally cost £10 per person so you must work with children and families in Highland to receive your HCPC re-paid voucher.
Please note, this training is introductory and awareness raising level and does not replace attendance at face-to-face training.
The course is a good introduction for practitioners who have access to children and family members (including adult services). The module is designed to be completed at a time of your choice and should take around 60 – 90 minutes and you can revisit aspects of the course.
On successful completion, you will be able to download a certificate.
To access the material you should contact the Child Protection Training team and request a voucher code. You will then be directed to the CALA E-Learning Zone, where your code will enable you to complete the E-Learning package at no cost to you or your organisation.
Once you receive your unique code, it will be valid for a period of 28 days from the date of issue.
To receive your unique code, please contact [email protected]
