After School Playworker

Crown Corner Club – Inverness, IV2 3NX

 

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person for our busy after-school club, with a passion for providing fun activities for children of primary school age, both indoors and outdoors, in a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment. Similarly, we are seeking a confident individual with excellent communication skills to ensure regular and effective communication with parents/carers. This play worker position entails collecting children from the school and bringing them back to the Club as well as providing healthy snacks/drinks and various activities. The club is open from 1.45- 5.45 pm Monday -Friday during school term and 4 weeks of the Summer holidays, one week at Easter and October holidays and most In-service days. During holiday clubs we work on a shift rota, from full days to half days.

Annual holiday entitlement is 34 days.

If you

  • Enjoy working with children
  • Can ‘Play’ and have fun
  • Can work as part of a team supporting children’s play and meeting their needs
  • Can show initiative and be well-organised
  • Supervise and engage with the children and encourage their development
  • Plan exciting activities in a safe environment
