Community Support Worker
Working across Highland (with a focus in the West coast area)
Hours: Part time – 10 hours per week over 40 weeks per annum (term time)
Rate of pay: £10.00 per hour

The successful candidate will establish, maintain contact with and support parent toddler groups.
Contact will require regular visits and written communication with identified toddler groups. This role will also involve supporting families in times of need with young children in their own homes.
Applicants must have current clean driving licence and access to personal transport (for which a mileage allowance will be paid). Current working knowledge of the childcare sector (0-5) is essential. Knowledge of parenting support is also desirable.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013 & the Amendment Order 2015. The successful applicant will be required to become a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
