Thinkuknow toolkit – child protection

We wanted to share a link for CEOP’s Thinkuknow toolkit which is downloadable from their website. There’s a simple registration process and once you’ve done that, you can access the resources – just click on the appropriate tab.

Thinkuknow-toolkit-2 There are 15 learning activities based on the 11-13 and 14+ areas of the website so in effect, the toolkit helps you transform the website from a reference tool into an interactive resource.

Each activity gets young people thinking and talking about key issues related to sex, relationships and the internet, delivers safety messages, and encourages them to return to the website in their own time. Topics include sexting, webcam, using social networks, inappropriate content and chatting with strangers online.

There are also resources for use with children and young people aged 5 to 17.

Go to the Thinkuknow website.
