Bha rudeigin a’ deàrrsadhadh aig Na Rionnagan Beaga an t-seachdainn seo! / Something was sparkling at Little Stars this week!

Lots of fun was had at Na Rionnagan Beaga this Monday when we decided to make glitter bottles. This was one of the activities that was offered at the ‘Don’t Touch That!’ workshop, led by the CALA team, at the An t-Alltan conference in Aviemore last week.

Making the bottles at the training session gave me the confidence to lead the activity for myself at our group and we ALL had a great time seeing what all we could add to our bottles and what the effects would be!

The children played often with the bottles throughout the session and kept returning to the table to play with the glitter and other sensory materials and to watch each other creating their glitter bottles. They shook them happily in time with our songs and danced with them to our music!

We shook them, rolled them, watched them, squeezed them, held them, dropped them – loved them!
