High-viz vests are a big hit at Culbokie & Drakies!
The children at Culbokie and Drakies Out of School Clubs have a really exciting summer of activities lined up. And this year, with many thanks to Technip UK Ltd, they will be extra safe when out and about exploring the Highlands. On previous outings it was hard work keeping track of everyone with all their different and brightly coloured tops. Staff suggested a club T-shirt or high-viz vests and we thought this was a great idea.
We contacted Sarah Lister at Technip UK Ltd, a spoolbase at Invergordon to plead our case. Within a very short time, Sarah replied that Technip would be delighted to provide the vests for us. Roddy and Izilda from Rossweld made all the arrangements and the Sign Centre printed them all for us using both the CALA and Technip logo on them. In bright orange we’re sure to be seen wherever we are! And we’ve a few extra vests so the staff can wear them too – much to their delight!!!
An extra surprise was to discover that Izilda who now works with Rossweld, used to work in one of our early years CALA centres – it’s a small world!
We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Technip, Rossweld and the Sign Centre.
Watch out for us as we go out and about.
