Croileagan Inbhir Narainn get a very special envelope!

The children at Croileagan Inbhir Narainn were very excited to receive a special big envelope during the last week of term. The letter was carefully opened and inside was a certificate! The certificate showed the children had been successful in gaining the Eco Schools Silver Award.

Over the past year, the children have been busy recycling, using email instead of paper, planting and growing some things for snack both in nursery and at the local allotment. They’ve been composting, measuring rain water in their rain gauge, making extra good use of the outdoor area for all kinds of activities including stories and crafts as well as finding out lots more about wildlife. And they re-decorated the doll’s house with donated scrap materials. Well done everyone!

Quite rightly, the children were keen to show off the award to their parents who had all helped them achieve it.

Moran taing dhan a h-uile duine! / Thanks everybody!
