CALA Director awarded MBE
Huge congratulations to Mr James Neil House on receiving the MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List 2015, for services in support of service personnel and their families.
Following a career in both formal and informal education, James was appointed Community Development Officer with the Army Welfare Service in 1999 and since that time has shared valuable insight into the needs of army families as well as being actively involved across all of the Army Welfare Service.
James has also been a longstanding volunteer within several community related projects and we at Care and Learning Alliance are fortunate to have had him on our Board of Directors since 2009. We have benefitted greatly from his advice and guidance in steering our organisation through the changes.
It’s great to see this formal recognition of the work James undertakes, supporting service families and their children. He shows this same commitment and dedication to his role as CALA Director.
Well done from all your CALA colleagues!
Valerie Gale, CALA Chief Executive
