Boris’ Adventures

Jane and Amy of Lochinver Preschool have sent through a report about a bear called Boris, who has been spending some time with the children of the preschool. They have also made two short videos that show the various ways in which the children took care of Boris during his trip to Lochinver.

“The children at Lochinver Preschool have their own special bear called Boris. As part of “all about me” Boris was lucky enough to have a sleep over at each child’s house.Through the “smartstart” program we taught Boris all about healthy eating and planned a teddy bears picnic. On the way to the picnic we discovered more bears hiding in the woods. The bears were very hungry and went searching for food.

All the bears came back with us and we left Boris and his friends to play over the October holiday. But when we returned Boris was alone and miserable. We searched and searched the woods for his friends and the school. The bears had been in the school – we found footprints and left over food. The school bear “Jim-bob” told us all about hibernating so we made a nice cave for Boris and wished him a long sleep. See you in the spring Boris!
