I was lucky enough to join the CALA team in November 2013 and I have never looked back. CALA is such a nice company to work for. I was given the opportunity to take on the role of Payroll Administrator which I was a bit nervous about as I had no experience in this line of work. It turns out I had nothing to worry about. I was given all the support I needed from my team and although I am still learning I am really enjoying the role.

Outside of CALA I like to spend time with my family. I have two little boys who keep me busy so never a dull moment. We own a caravan and love to go off on our adventures whenever we get the chance.

Linda Sutherland, Payroll Administrator

I joined CALA in March 2017 as Payroll Administrator.  I have to say there is never a dull moment and I really enjoy working within the Dingwall Team.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family.

Gillian Grant, HR Officer

I joined CALA in August 2014 starting out  as Clerical Assistant then moving onto the role of  Hr Administrator in October 2016. I really enjoy working within the Dingwall Team – I am always kept very busy with the day to day tasks within HR of the company.

Outside of CALA I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two young children and I also like to go shopping!

Rebecca Smart, Clerical Assistant

I joined the CALA team in October 2016 as a Business and Administration Modern Apprentice. I’m always kept busy and no day is ever the same – it can range from ordering resources for our nursery and out of school groups to representing CALA at events across the Highlands. I am constantly learning new things from all areas of the company which is great to help with my SVQ!!

Outside of work I love music concerts so I try to go to as many as I can! I also love playing with my troublesome little fur-baby ‘Vinnie’ (I’m a bit of a crazy cat lady!) – he’s a bit mad so there’s never a dull moment!

Claire Whitehead, Assistant Administrator

I joined the Inverness office team in January 2017. My job involves providing help and advice to our members and staff.

Every day is different so can vary from providing countersignatory support and advice for PVG applications for our members to booking training space for my colleagues.
