Penn Literacy Network/CALA Exchange, 4-5 April 2011
In April 2011 the CALA training team facilitated a 2 day visit and practice exchange between colleagues from the University of Pennsylvania Early Years Literacy Network, Highland Council’s ICAN team and CALA. Around 20 practitioners accessed two busy fun packed days of learning where comparative practice and research were readily exchanged and absorbed by everyone.
Feedback was universally positive (from both sides of the Atlantic). The level of enthusiasm and interest remained high throughout the 2 days; "Inspiring", "Totally awesome!", "Have learnt so much", "Such fantastic collaboration", "full of enthusiasm for literacy for all" and perhaps one of the most repeated..."When can we do this again?"
