Early Years
We at Care and Learning Alliance are dedicated to giving all children the ‘best start in life’, and as one of the partners in the Scottish Government’s Early Years Framework we are constantly striving to provide the best guidance and support for families and Early Years groups throughout Highland and Moray.
Early Years Groups
CALA provides advice and support for all voluntary run Early Years Partner Centres throughout Highland and Moray. Our Staff Managed Centres can access all the listed services available to voluntary members and have the added benefit of accessing CALA’s management experience and quality assurance programme. For our Directly Managed Centres CALA has developed a model of direct management and has total responsibility for all service delivery.

Toddler Support
It is our aim, through the Care & Learning Alliance Toddler Project, to improve the quality of provision for all adults and children attending 0-4 groups. Our Toddler Group Facilitators, in consultation with group members, draw up an initial action plan of what the parents and children want from their group. Through role modelling activities, information sharing and committee support the TGFs and group members work together to meet their individual requirements.
