Professional Perspectives
CALA offers a range of services that are specifically targeted at the many professional managers and staff who work in the early years, daycare and out of school care sector.
Access to local managers
CALA is in regular contact with centres working with children aged between 0-16 (18 for children with additional needs) throughout the Highland and Moray area so there is no need to feel that you are operating alone.
By accessing the CALA networks, you can gain invaluable insights on what is happening elsewhere while contributing to the promotion of good practice.
Literature and resources
CALA can provide access to literature that deals with the many issues and opportunities in early years, daycare and out of school care provision.
Insurance cover through membership
CALA Membership provides you with easy access to insurance cover that is both relevant and cost-effective.
Disclosure clearance
We are all acutely aware of the need to ensure that necessary disclosures are undertaken in a sound and robust manner. CALA can assist by providing advice or undertaking this on your behalf through the Central Registered Body in Scotland (CRBS) for voluntary run groups or through Disclosure Scotland for private groups.
Employment Opportunities
CALA operates a Staffbank, which simply means that we can enter your details on our database and advise you of any additional employment opportunities that may arise and which would fit with your existing work commitments. Maybe you would like to extend your work horizons within the wider childcare sector? Give us a ring and find out more.
