Birth to Three
Pilot Project Evaluation Report
The pilot project was funded by Inverness Childcare and Family Resource partnership to help promote awareness of the new national guidance ‘Birth to three: Supporting our Youngest Children’ (LTS, 2005) and begin to improve the quality of provision for children aged 0-3 years in daycare in Inverness. Six private day care centres were invited by Partnership officers to participate in the project and all were keen to be involved. Centres were initially approached in February 06 and the project was completed in July 06. (See table 1 for the dates of meetings and visits).
